Prerequisite for these programs is grade 12 (or acceptable equivalent). You may also apply as a mature student-contact the school for details. For your application to be considered, submit the fully completed application and be prepared to provide us with a copy of one of the following:

Signed and Sealed Grade 12 transcript
Grade 12 Diploma / Transcript
High School Completion Certificate
GED

For your application to be considered please complete all areas of the application form.

We will contact you to arrange for an interview. Please bring to the interview transcript, 3 letters of reference, and a resume.

Upon acceptance, we will require a non-refundable registration fee of $100.00 payable to the Academy to reserve your
placement in the Program. The registration fee forms part of the total cost of the program. You will be given an acceptance letter which will be required to arrange financing at your bank or with Nova Scotia Student Assistance. Successful completion of the program and receipt of your Academy Diploma will qualify you to write the Cosmetology
Asociation of Nova Scotia Provincial exam. Upon successful completion of the Provincial exam, you will receive a license
from the Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia.
